Douglas Ferguson
Douglas joined HC Group as a Director in 2019 to lead our APAC Liquid Fuels and Chemicals practice in Singapore.
In 2020, he took on additional responsibility for developing our APAC Gas, Power and Renewables practice. Douglas has worked in the energy sector since 2005, initially covering the EMEA region from London before relocating to Singapore in 2012 to focus on the APAC market. Prior to moving into executive search, Douglas was a Securitization Analyst at an Australian investment bank.
It’s an exciting time for the energy markets with Singapore, Japan, China, and Australia all implementing new carbon and power trading initiatives in 2021. It’s especially rewarding to be advising our clients on new market entry strategies and partnering with them on multi-year projects.
