Thomas Webster
Thomas Webster is HC Group's Head of European and US Shipping.
Prior to joining HC Group, he spent 2.5 years as a consultant in a new market for Spinnaker Global, before founding and operating a specialist shipping recruitment business for nine years.
During this time, Thomas built and managed a diverse global client portfolio across the US, Europe, and Singapore, working with shipping funds, owner-operators, commodity trading businesses, and shipbroking firms. He developed long-term partnerships across the dry bulk and wider maritime sectors.
His background combines consultancy and entrepreneurship across major international markets.
Thomas is now responsible for HC Group’s Shipping practice, covering Europe and the US, partnering with shipping funds, owner-operators, commodity trading businesses, and brokerages on senior commercial, chartering, trading, and operations roles across global shipping markets.
Thomas is an alumnus of Brunel University and King’s College London, where he undertook further study in Political Economy.
