Arjan is a Senior Associate specialising in European oil mandates.
Prior to joining HC Group, he built his career in executive search with a dedicated focus on the hedge fund sector, where he was responsible for appointing commodity-focused portfolio managers across leading multi-strategy platforms, with a specific emphasis on the oil market. During this period, he developed substantial expertise in proprietary trading.
He now applies this client-side perspective to oversee senior search mandates, facilitating the appointment of high-calibre talent within global commodity merchants, trading houses and hedge funds.
Arjan completed his BSc in Economics & Business Management from the University of Leicester.
